Meet - Dustin Root, LMT - Massage Therapist

Massage Therapist Greenville SC

Dustin was born and raised in Rochester, New York (Upstate NY). Dustin went to school initially at the local community college and was enrolled in their massage program. He suffered an injury to my back from sneezing and two weeks later was rear-ended while at a stoplight on my way to school. He sought chiropractic care, which was ultimately the reason for my quick recovery and my desire to work alongside medical professionals. After he recovered he finished getting my certification, and license.

After becoming licensed he was offered a position with one of his instructors in their practice, he worked in a spa, and eventually started working with a Chiropractor where he was integrated into the office to contribute to the therapies they provided.

He started continuing education with Spa Massage, Hot Stone and Myofacial Release. After he started working with Chiropractors he then took courses in Orthopedic Massage and Active Release Techniques. His goal in continuing education is to be an effective provider in pain management through Massage Therapy.
